Portsmouth High School students evacuated because of bomb threat

PORTSMOUTH — Students have been evacuated following a bomb threat at Portsmouth High School received Monday morning, according to school officials.

Seacoastonline.com reported the threat came in at 10:35 and students were evacuated from the building. Police are scanning the facility for potential treats, a school notice sent to parents says.

The school announcement says students will remain outside until the building is deemed safe by law enforcement officials. Seacoastonline.com reports the same school was evacuated for a bomb threat in January that proved to be a hoax.
