Portsmouth asking Water Country to pay half of traffic study

PORTSMOUTH - Water Country is being asked to pay for half of a traffic study to address traffic flow in Portsmouth.

The city says traffic from the park has been impacting nearby neighborhoods.

People who leave Water Country frequently go Constitution Avenue and then to Banfield Road to head to Interstate 95.

That takes them through residential areas.

Neighbors have been complaining about speeding motorists and heavy traffic.
