Popular cooking appliance recalled due to burn hazard
CONCORD – A vertical roaster has been recalled due to burn and laceration hazards.
TCC Cooking Company has recalled about 4,000 CHEFS-branded flameproof ceramic roaster because the roasters have the potential to break or shatter, causing possible burn hazards.
There have been over two dozen reports of roasters breaking or shattering, but no reported injuries.
If you own a TCC Cooking vertical roaster, sold at Target stores and online, should be returned to the place of purchase for a full refund or gift card.
