Police: Woman causes crash while passenger overdoses, facing drug charges in Manchester


MANCHESTER — A woman was arrested on multiple charges Saturday after causing an accident and being found in possession of a controlled substance.

The woman, 26 of Contoocook, was driving north on Mammoth Road when she made an illegal left turn onto Bridge Street from the center lane causing a collision with another vehicle.

A passenger in the other vehicle was transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

While police and EMS personnel were on scene Kerr's passenger was found unresponsive, suffering from an apparent opiate overdose. Her passenger was revived with Narcan and transported to the hospital.

She was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of drugs, possession of a controlled dug, and two counts of reckless conduct.

She will be arraigned Tuesday in the Manchester District Court.
