Police: Woman arrested in NH for driving drunk with 2 kids in the car

LEBANON - A woman was arrested for drunken driving with two children under the age of 16 in the car, police said.

Police pulled over Lindsey Shook, 31 of Hartland, Vt., Saturday night for failing to use the proper turn signal. Police said that she had been drinking since early afternoon.

Police called the Division of Children, Youth and Families in protection of both children, and Shook was charged with DWI, two counts each of endangering the welfare of a child and common law indirect criminal contempt after it was determined she was out on bail from a previous arrest.

All of these charges are Class A misdemeanors, and it was also learned that Shook had outstanding warrants for failing to appear in court for driving on suspension.

She was released on $1,000 cash bail and scheduled to be in court on March 28.
