Police: Woman arrested had over 5 grams of heroin, Fentanyl and Carfentanil
GILFORD — A woman is facing three felony drug charges after police found over five grams of various substances on her person Saturday.
Gilford police said Sonya Spooner, 38, of no fixed address, was the passenger in a vehicle driven by Chad Belleville, 34, of Barnstead, that they stopped at about 12:30 a.m.
Police said Spooner was originally taken into custody for an open warrant for failure to appear on a drug-related offense out Belknap County Superior Court, but she was found to be in possession of what officers believed to be heroin, Fentanyl and Carfentanil with a total weight of over five grams.
Spooner also was in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine, cash and drug packaging materials, police said. She is being held without bail and refused bail on her other charges.
Spooner was arraigned at the Belknap County Superior Court and held on $10,000 cash bail on the new charges, although police said she would be held without bail in regards to her warrant.
Police said Belleville was taken into custody for operating under suspension of his license and registration.
