Police: West High School in Manchester on shelter-in-place order after shots fired nearby

MANCHESTER - West High School has taken precautions after reports shots were reported fired nearby, police said.

The reports came in the area of 90 Conant St. at about 9 a.m. Thursday morning, but it does not appear anyone was struck, they said.

Police are still investigating, but a Bearcat vehicle is on scene.

A Manchester School District official said Gossler and Parkside are in secure campus protocol.
