Police were called to Hooksett home for landlord dispute before

HOOKSETT- Police were called to a Vindale Road home Saturday afternoon for a report of an assault and potential motor vehicle theft.

When they arrived, they found an elderly couple bruised and bloody after and altercation with their landlords. Both parties say the incicdent was over money.

Police say they were called to this home earlier in the week for a civil matter dealing with money owed to the landlords. They say things didn't get violent until they were called Saturday.

Lanlords Richard Bernier, 68, and Keri McCallum, 49, of Goffstown, were arrested and charged with robbery and criminal trespassing.

Police say even though the couple owns the property, once it's rented out they cannot just walk in as they please.

The pair is due in court April 15th.
