KEENE — Police are still searching for a man who robbed a campus convenience store and assaulted the clerk on Saturday.
Police officers responded to the scene at 152 Winchester St. at about 4:20 in the afternoon.
No weapon was shown during the robbery, but the clerk received minor lacerations to his face and was transported to a hospital for treatment. The suspect fled south onto Keene State Campus with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect is described as being of medium build either 5'5'' or 5'6'' tall. He wore dark jeans, and a colored hooded sweatshirt.
Keene State College Campus Safety assisted during this incident.
KSC was not placed on lockdown and at this time and there is no information to believe the students are in danger.
