Police still looking for suspects responsible for shooting in NH city
MANCHESTER — Police are still looking for the suspect responsible for shooting one partygoer in New Hampshire on Saturday.
According to police, around 2:15 a.m. a call came in reporting gunshots heard at a large party at 138 Willow St in Manchester.
Police say, the original caller could not identify if the noise was in fact gun shots or fireworks.
Witnesses told police that a flash of light consistent with the muzzle blast of a firearm was seen in the area at that time.
An officer working security at Elliot Hospital, said that a gunshot victim had arrived at the Emergency Room with non-life threatening injuries early Sunday morning.
Mr. Clay explained that, before he was shot, he had broken up a fight at the party, in which a large group of people were assaulting another partygoer.
The shooter allegedly started firing a handgun at the ground and a nearby wall multiple times. Mr. Clay said that it was only shortly afterwards that he realized he had been shot and a friend drove him to the hospital for treatment.
Mr. Clay described the suspect as:
A black male
Approximately 20 years of age
Approximately 5’9”-5’11” tall
Last seen wearing a white tank top
