Police: Speeding stop leads to other charges against Manchester man

BOW - Police say a speeding stop led to a host of other charges against a Manchester man on Saturday.

New Hampshire state trooper Jeffrey Ardini says he clocked 28-year-old Christopher Chasse driving 88 mph on Interstate 93 north in Bow at 6:40 Saturday morning.

During the stop, Ardini says he determined that Chasse's license and registration were both suspended.

Once in custody, police say Chasse had a substance believed to be heroin in his front pocket. Police say additional drugs and numerous hypodermic needles were found in his car.

Chasse is charged with operating after revocation or suspension, operating with a suspended registration, drug possession and speeding.

He is due in Concord District Court May 3.
