Police seek suspect in Sunday morning robbery of Anchorage Inn

PORTSMOUTH - Police are looking for a woman accused of robbing the Anchorage Inn on Woodbury Ave. on Sunday morning.

Police say the suspect entered the hotel around 8 a.m. and passed a note to the front desk clerk demanding money. The suspect fled with an undisclosed sum and is believed to have gotten into a dark blue, two-door Jeep Wrangler with a black hard top and alloy wheels.

The suspect is described as a white female, about 5-foot-7-inches tall with a thin build. She was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, a black baseball hat, blue jeans and dark colored sneakers with white soles and white laces.

No weapons were involved. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Det. Kristyn Bernier at 610-7529.
