Police seek NH public's help in $10,000 fraud case

LEE — Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man after he bought $10,000 worth of goods with a fraudulent credit card.

As the investigation continues, police search for a man who hacked into the victim's email, signed up for an Amazon.com account and applied for a credit card.

The subject or subjects then used the card to purchase almost $10,000 in goods including gold coins and camera equipment.

The camera equipment was picked up in person at a local UPS store Aug. 26.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Lee Police at 603-659-5866 or email them at mail@leenhpolice.org.
