Police searching for man who robbed Northway Bank in W. Ossipee

OSSIPEE - Police responded to a bank robbery Monday morning.

Police got reports that a man entered Northway Bank in West Ossipee, and handed a note to a teller that read he had a gun and demanded cash.

No gun was waved but the man fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, and is expected to have taken off in a nearby car.

Surveillance footage shows the suspect wearing a green jacket with a black hooded sweatshirt and a grey knit hat.

While the robbery remains under investigation, anyone with information in identifying the man is asked to contact the Ossipee Police Department at 539-2011.
