BOSTON (AP) — Police are searching for a potentially homeless man in his 40s or 50s who sexually assaulted a woman near the New England Aquarium in Boston.

The Boston Globe reports the assault occurred around 4:11 a.m. Monday in the area near State Street and Atlantic Avenue.

The victim told police she was walking through the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway toward the Greenway Carousel when she was initially approached by the suspect. He fled after the assault and has not been apprehended.

Police say the man is described as being "white or white Hispanic" with a thin build and scruff on his face. He stands about 5 feet 5 inches tall and was wearing a dark-colored Boston Bruins jersey at the time of the assault.
