Police say NH man wielding knife fought with 13-year-old
MANCHESTER — Officers from the Manchester Police Department responded to a fight between two adults and a group of juveniles Sunday night.
Elvin Hodzic, 20, and James Naum, 19, both of Manchester, were involved in a fight around 5:30 p.m. Sunday night at the Electric Street railroad trestle according to police.
Naum is alleged to have pulled out a folding knife before punching a 13-year-old boy, causing him to flip over a guardrail, police said. Naum then slashed the boy several times on the arms as he stood up, police said.
The 13-year old suffered minor injuries and was sent to the hospital for the cuts on his arms and a possible concussion.
Police arrested Naum and charged him with felony criminal threatening and reckless conduct.
Naum was released after paying his $2,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in Manchester district court July 5.
Hodzic was not charged in the incident.
