Police say Manchester woman flipped car then bit, kicked officers
MACNHESTER - Police say a city woman bit kicked and spat on officers after they responded to her rollover crash on Wednesday.
One officer and a bystander were able to remove Samantha Gleason - who was uninjured except for a cut on the right side of her head - from her sideways 2000 Subaru Legacy on Spruce Street, which had turned after she struck a nearby Dodge Durango.
Police say Gleason behaved erratically, laughed at questions and seemed unfazed by the car crash.
She refused medical treatment, and cursed at officers and bystanders who wanted to help.
She was arrested for driving while drunk and later charged with simple assault.
None of the officers sought medical attention.
