Police say man fired ‘at least four rounds’ in air

NASHUA – A city man who is accused of firing “at least four rounds” into the air from a handgun during a Sunday morning dispute has been charged with two felonies. No one was injured in the incident. Police say that, at approximately 3:10 a.m., two Nashua Police patrol officers heard 4 to 5 gunshots in the area of West Hollis Street at Walnut Street. Upon their arrival they observed a group of about 10 individuals, police said. Police said Miguel Ortiz, 20, of 10 Badger St., fired a handgun and was taken into custody at the scene. Police say that Ortiz had discarded the handgun in an alley just before police arrived.
