Police say drunk man refused to leave NH bar, started fighting officers
LEBANON — Police arrested a man accused of being drunk and belligerent in a bar and refusing to leave.
According to police, a local restaurant called officers to help remove an intoxicated patron around 11:30 p.m. Friday.
Staff members told police that they asked the man to leave several times, but he refused.
Officers then asked the subject to leave several times, but again, he refused, police said.
When police arrested Joshua O. Goodwin, 33, of Plainfield, he became combative, causing officers to use a taser.
Goodwin has been charged with criminal trespass, resisting arrest, simple assault and disorderly conduct. He is scheduled to be arraigned Sept. 11 in Lebanon district court.
