Police say death of Manchester man found this morning not suspicious

MANCHESTER - Police responded to the death of a man found at the bottom of the stairs at a rooming house Tuesday morning.

The man, 58-year-old Michael Guillemette, worked nights for Welcome Home as a security guard and had lived at the facility since 2008, according to Director Julio Chea.

Chea said he received a call around 7:15 a.m. regarding the death.

He believes Guillemette fell down a half a flight of stairs, leading to his death.

EMTs provided medical treatment but were unable to revive Guillemette. The State Medical Examiner is conducting an autopsy and details will be release pending the findings.

Police said the incident is not suspicious in nature. They also confirmed there is video that may confirm what happened to Guillemette.
