Police recover large quantity of drugs and arrest four suspects
BOSTON, Mass. — Police recovered a large quantity of drugs and arrested four suspects in two separate incidents on Saturday.
Around 2:15 p.m. on May 13, 2017, officers of the District B-3 Neighborhood Drug control Unit executed two search warrants resulting in the recovery of a large quantity of drugs and the arrest of 40-year-old Jimmy Dixon of Dorchester, Mass.
After an extensive ongoing investigation in the area of Gleason Street, officers were able to execute warrants resulting in the recovery of over four pounds of marijuana, over $3,600 in U.S. currency, two Ruger 9mm large capacity feeding devices, and drug paraphernalia consistent with the distribution of illegal narcotics, including scales and packaging materials.
Officers arrested Dixon and charged him with Possession with intent to Distribute Class D Substance, Marijuana, and Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device.
The second incident occurred around 4:15 p.m. when members of the District E-5 Neighborhood Drug Control Unit arrested three individuals and recovered over 100 grams of cocaine, over 30 grams of heroin, over $2,500 in U.S. currency, Honey butane oil, and several plastic bags and a jar of marijuana.
Officers arrested 27-year-old Wilki Osiris Sanz of Dorchester, Mass. and 31-year-old Eddiber Mejia of Roxbury, Mass. and charged them with Trafficking Class A Substance, Heroin, Traffick Class B Substance, Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Distribute Class C Substance, Honey Butane Oil, and Possession with Intent to Distribute Class D Substance, Marijuana.
Officers also arrested 30-year-old Alvis R. Objio of Roslindale, Mass. and charged him with Trafficking Class A Substance, Heroin, and Trafficking Class B Substance, Cocaine.
