Police: Portsmouth man threatens relative with pointed gun

PORTSMOUTH — A Portsmouth man is facing criminal threatening charges for allegedly threatening a relative with a pointed gun.

Kejuan Williams, 42, was being questioned by police after being seen throwing something to the ground. While there, an individual told police Williams had threatened them.

Williams was charged with criminal threatening with a weapon. Further investigation determined that the gun was actually a BB pistol designed to look like a higher-caliber handgun, Sgt. Timothy McCain told Seacoastonline.

Williams bail was set to $7,500 cash police said.
