Police: Portsmouth home burglarized, handgun and jewelry stolen

PORTSMOUTH — A residence was burglarized and robbed on Wednesday.

Some time before 5 p.m. on Rockingham Avenue the burglar(s) forced entry into a home, and stole a handgun and jewelry.

Portsmouth Police Detectives and members of the Crime Scene Team processed the scene.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Detective Adam Kozlowski at 603-436-2511.
