Police: Nude man rescued from Boston Harbor

The Associated Press

BOSTON — Massachusetts State Police say they rescued a nude man who jumped into the Boston Harbor.

Authorities say it happened around 1 p.m. Saturday when a trooper approached the man. As the trooper got near him, the man jumped two fences and leaped into the harbor.

Troopers pulled the man from the harbor and treated him for possible hypothermia. Authorities say he tried to jump back in the water as they were heading back to shore.

The man lost consciousness as troopers were administering aid. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
