LACONIA — Two adults were allegedly passed out in the front of a car that crashed on Roller Coaster Road with a 19-month-old child in the backseat, officials said.
Officials said Laconia firefighters administered Narcan to the driver, Katie O’Shea of Meredith, and an unnamed front seat passenger when police arrived on scene, suggesting the two had overdosed while driving. The child was not injured.
The incident took place at about 7:45 p.m. Tuesday.
O’Shea was charged with aggravated DWI and endangering the welfare of a child. The unnamed adult passenger was not charged. Both were transported to the hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
O'Shea was released on $2,000 personal recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 8.
