MERRIMACK — An 18-year-old pulled over for a motor vehicle violation was found to be operating the vehicle with a suspended license and in possession of marijuana, police said.

Emma Klapka, of Merrimack, was pulled over Sunday on Daniel Webster Highway for a motor vehicle violation. The officer conducted a records check of Klapka and found that she was operating the vehicle with a suspended license.

Klapka was placed under arrest. During an inventory of the involved vehicle, police found marijuana.

Klapka was charged with operating after suspension - a second offense - and possession of marijuana.

She was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 15.
