Police: NH mom arrested for drinking and driving with her toddler in vehicle
LEBANON — A mother is accused of driving under the influence late Sunday night with her 4-year-old child in the car.
Lebanon police received a call that a woman had just driven to a home in Lebanon with her child in the car, and the caller suspected she had been drinking.
Officers arrived at Renihan Meadows to find Courtney Briley, 34, intoxicated with her child in the back seat, police said.
Briley was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence and endangering the welfare of a child.
Police did not know who has custody of the child at this time and whether the Department for Children, Youth and Families has been notified.
Briley is scheduled to be arraigned July 10 at Lebanon district court.
