Police: NH man with heroin stops traffic before kicking 2 cars

MANCHESTER — A Manchester man stopped traffic before allegedly kicking two cars on Beech Street.

An officer spotted Adi Melkic, 29, standing in the middle of the street Sunday at 6:45 a.m., police said. The two cars that stopped for him immediately left the area following the incident.

The officer stopped his car and approached Melkic to clear him from the middle of the street.

Police charged Melkic with disorderly conduct. A search of Melkic revealed 1.2 grams of heroin in his possession, so police charged him with possession of a controlled drug.

Melkic was released on $1,000 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 22.
