Police: NH man used Backpage.com to meet woman who performed sexual favors for cash
HOOKSETT — A Salem man allegedly used Backpage.com to meet a woman who later performed sexual favors for cash, police said.
During an investigation into a prostitution complaint at the Firebird Motel at 10 Bell Ave. on May 5 around 2 p.m., officers stopped Matthew Bole, 54, as he left the motel parking lot in a car.
Bole allegedly told detectives that he met a woman on Backpage.com and they set up to meet at the motel. Bole also said he paid the woman in cash for sexual favors, police said.
Detectives spoke with Holly Kula, 29, of Hooksett, in one of the motel rooms after gathering more information.
On Tuesday, detectives completed arrest warrants for Bole and Kula on prostitution charges.
Officers located and arrested Kula at the Firebird Motel. Police said Bole turned himself into the Hooksett Police Department.
Both were released on $3,000 personal recognizance bail and have a court appearance scheduled for June 23.
