Police: NH man struck victim several times and threatened him with knife
NASHUA — A man was arrested after attacking and threatening another man during an altercation Thursday.
Nashua police said they responded to a Nashua residence around 10:17 p.m. for a reported domestic disturbance.
Officers spoke with a man who told them he was physically assaulted. He told police that his relative, Everett Rice, 25 of Nashua was involved in a minor altercation with another male.
The victim told police that he broke up the altercation between his relative and the other male, but then Rice began fighting with the other man.
Police said Rice struck the victim several times and threatened him with a knife. The victim sustained minor injuries but did not require medical treatment.
Police arrested Rice and charged him with criminal threatening and domestic violence, both Class B felonies; along with three counts of domestic violence and three counts of simple assault, all Class A misdemeanors.
Rice was released on $10,000 cash or surety bail pending his arraignment in Nashua District Court on Friday.
