LEBANON — Police arrested a Lebanon man after receiving a tip that he was traveling from White River Junction, Vt., to Lebanon with heroin in his vehicle.
John "Justin" Demers, 38, was found by patrol and detective units in a vehicle on Dulac Street in Lebanon on Monday at about 5:30 p.m. During an investigation, police determined that Demers was in possession of three bags of heroin, a small amount of marijuana and suboxone.
Demers was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a narcotic drug, both class B felony charges, and one count of possession of marijuana, a class A misdemeanor.
His bail was set to $25,000 cash, which he was unable to post. Demers was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
