Police: NH man pronounced dead after motorcycle crash on I-93
SALEM — A New Hampshire man was pronounced dead at the scene after losing control of his motorcycle and hitting a guardrail on Interstate 93.
New Hampshire state troopers report that Roger Marchand, 57 of Northwood was getting off I-93 north when he lost control of his 2003 Harley-Davidson.
The incident happened around 4:30 p.m. at exit one north in Salem, Police say.
The crash reportedly reduced both north and southbound exits from two lanes down to one for about three hours.
Police say they located a helmet at the scene, but it is unknown if Marchand was wearing it during the time of the crash.
