Police: NH man points gun at apartment resident for asking him to move out of parking spot

MANCHESTER — A Hooksett man is facing a criminal threatening charge after he allegedly pointed a gun at another after a fight over a parking spot on Thursday around 1 p.m.

Manchester police received a complaint from a tenant in the building who said that Abdi Khamis, 28, of 145 Mammoth Road, Hooksett, pointed a gun at the resident in the parking lot at 328 Cedar St.

Khamis allegedly visits friends in the apartment complex frequently and always parks in marked tenant spaces, the alleged victim told police.

The resident asked Khamis to move his car, which is when Khamis allegedly became agitated, grabbed a gun from his jacket pocket and pointed it at the resident, police said.

Police found Khamis in his car a short distance away and arrested him. He is charged with criminal threatening.
