Police: NH man caught driving 118 mph on Route 101 charged with reckless operation

RAYMOND — A New Hampshire State Police aircraft monitoring traffic Tuesday spotted a car going over 100 miles per hour on Route 101.
Steven Malonson, 22, of Nashua, was driving east on Route 101 at approximately 3 p.m. when a police aircraft spotted him going 118 miles per hour, police said.
An officer on the ground was notified of the speeding 2005 Volvo and stopped Malonson when he passed the officer's location.
Malonson was charged with reckless operation and is scheduled to appear in Candia district court at 8 a.m. Oct. 11.
