Police: Nashua woman stabs boyfriend in wrist, charged with domestic violence

NASHUA - A woman stabbed her boyfriend multiple times in the wrist late Friday night, police said.

Patrol officers responded to the area of Orange Street for a disturbance report on Friday around 10 p.m.

The officers found a man who had sustained serious lacerations to his wrist after being stabbed by a knife. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Kaysha Barriffe, 23, who police said was his girlfriend, was later arrested and charged with first-degree assault and first-degree assault-domestic violence - both class A felonies.

Barriffe was held on $15,000 cash bail pending her arraignment in court. A class A felony is punishable by up to 15 years in prison.
