Police: Nashua man tried to break heroin-loaded needle to destroy evidence

NASHUA - Police say a Nashua man found with a hypodermic needle with heroin tried to destroy the evidence by breaking the syringe.

Angel Sostre, 52, of 12 Eighth St., Apt. 3, was charged with possession of heroin and falsifying physical evidence. Police say they were involved in a traffic stop on Monday afternoon. Sostre was a passenger when they found him in possession of the needle.

Sostre was arraigned on Tuesday in Nashua District Court.
