Police: Nashua man caught pawning stolen jewelry


NASHUA — A Nashua man caught pawning off stolen jewelry was arrested after police issued a warrant for him.

Several pieces of jewelry were reportedly stolen from a Nashua home on May 10. During an investigation, Justin Spencer, 28, was mentioned as a suspect that was known to the victim.

The Criminal Investigations Division, assisting the Nashua Police Uniform Patrol Division, observed Spencer pawning pieces of jewelry which were later identified as the victims.

Police prepared an arrest warrant for Spencer for the theft, who already had two prior theft convictions.

Spencer was arrested Thursday at about 7:50 p.m. for one count of receiving stolen property, a class B felony.
