Police: Nashua man arrested on warrant for the alleged sale of opioid drugs


NASHUA — A man with an outstanding warrant for the alleged sale of oxycodone hydrochloride was arrested on Wednesday.

Michael McCarthy, 21 of Nashua, was charged with possession of a controlled drug with the intent to distribute after what police called an extensive investigation.

McCarthy posted a $2,400 cash bail and is scheduled to be arraigned on Oct. 27.

Nashua police encourage citizens to call the Narcotics Hotline at 603-594-3597 or use the Nashua Police Department’s website Nashuapd.com to report illegal drug activity.
