WATCH: Toddler tries to wake overdosed mom in New England Family Dollar

Police said they plan to charge the Salem mother - who apparently overdosed in a Family Dollar while her toddler tried to wake her - with child endangerment.

The mother has been identified as Mandy McGowen, 36, according to the Eagle Tribune.

McGowen was seen in a video overdosed in the toy aisle of a Family Dollar. She laid unresponsive on the floor as her 2-year-old daughter cried for her to wake up.

Police Chief James Fitzpatrick told the Eagle Tribune that the department will file a complaint against the mother for child endangerment.
