Police: Missing NH woman's body located in Pemigewasset River


LINCOLN — New Hampshire State Police said they have found the body of a missing woman in the Pemigewasset River during a search Thursday morning.

The woman was reported missing to the Lincoln Police department by her boyfriend Wednesday night, but was not found until Thursday.

According to earlier police reports, the woman had gone swimming Wednesday morning in the Pemigewasset River.

Police said the body was recovered around noon Thursday in the east branch of the Pemigewasset River, where the water temperature was measured at 46 degrees.

The incident is still under investigation and anyone with additional information is asked to contact NH State Police-Marine Patrol at (603)293-2037.
