Police: Missing inmate ran away from Manchester halfway house
MANCHESTER — An inmate at the Calumet Halfway House for Men escaped from corrections officers by foot on Tuesday at about 10:10 p.m.
The inmate has been identified Dennis Holland, who is currently serving time for robbery, criminal mischief, and theft by unauthorized taking, all felony level. His earliest release date would have been July of 2017.
Both State Police and Manchester Police Department responded and a K9 track was attempted, but the inmate was not found.
He is described to be 5'8", 177 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Police say he was wearing jeans and a Mickey Mouse shirt when he escaped.
