Police: Minor operator attempting to take left turn crashes into motorcycle in NH city

ROCHESTER — A minor operator allegedly crashed into a motorcycle while attempting to make a left turn in Rochester.

Rochester Police, Fire and Frisbie EMS responded to the area of Milton and Cross roads for a report of a car accident involving a vehicle and a motorcycle Saturday at 4:03 p.m.

Officers discovered that a 2006 Nissan X-Terra - driven by a minor operator - attempted to make a left turn onto Milton Road from Cross Road, colliding with a 1998 Harley Davidson FXD Dyna Super Glide that was traveling south on Milton Road. The Harley was operated by Jay Mouncey, 62 of Rochester.

Officials transported Mouncey to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with minor, non-life-threatening injuries.

Both vehicles sustained damaged and needed to be towed from the scene.

Officers re-routed traffic for about 45 minutes while the scene was cleared.
