NH1.com

MERRIMACK - A Merrimack man is under arrest for secretly videotaping children in various states of undress, police said.

Thomas Herrmann, 52, is charged with three counts of privacy violations. A police investigation found Herrmann allegedly hid video equipment in places which allowed him to view people under the age of 18 undressing, and six recordings were found on his computer and video equipment.

Herrmann is expected to be arraigned on Tuesday. He was held on $25,000 cash bail.

A violation of privacy charge in New Hampshire is a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of up to $2,000 and up to one year in jail.
