DOVER - State Police say a "medical condition" may be the cause of Thursday afternoon's tractor-trailer crash on the Spaulding Turnpike.
The crash completely destroyed a piece of the tolls.
"We're leaning toward a medical issue on the part of the tractor-trailer driver as potential causation," Lt. Christopher Vetter said. "That's part of the investigation. That's sort of being vetted out as we speak. But that's sort of the direction that we're going in. Based on the evidence at the scene, there's no reason to believe that it was the weather or any other vehicles were part of the causation."
New video obtained by NH1 News shows the tractor-trailer quickly veering to the left before striking and passing right through a toll booth.
Nobody was inside the booth - as the lane was marked for E-ZPass users.
The driver was taken to the hospital but later released.
