Police: Manchester man purposely struck another car in Bedford


BEDFORD — A Manchester man was accused of purposely striking another vehicle with his car after an altercation.

A witness said the crash occurred at the intersection of Route 101 and Constitution Drive on Thursday. The witness followed the vehicle that struck the other car to the intersection of Route 114 and New Boston Road, where police said they intercepted the vehicle.

Police determined that Rediet Teferra, 26, intentionally struck a vehicle, after Teferra and the driver of the other vehicle allegedly got into an altercation while stopped at a light.

Teferra was charged with reckless conduct - placing another in danger, a felony, and conduct after an accident, a misdemeanor.

He is held on $5,000 personal recognizance bail pending arraignment on Nov. 22.
