MANCHESTER — A Manchester man was seen by police screaming profanity at two women, and was "aggressive" when police attempted to speak with them, according to police.

Denali Pierce, 27, was allegedly screaming at two women in front of 1087 Elm St. when an officer saw the situation, according to police. The officers says Pierce was swearing at the two women, so he asked him to stand by while he spoke with them.

Pierce then took an "aggressive stance" and refused to stand back. Pierce then also refused to provide identification for the officer, and continued to yell profanities at the officers, despite their efforts to calm him, according to police.

The officers handcuffed him, but Pierce remained non-compliant as the officers attempted to complete a search incident to arrest.

He was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He allegedly remained uncooperative throughout the arrest, police say.

He is currently at Valley Street Jail awaiting an arraignment in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on Friday morning.
