Police: Manchester Citizens Bank clerk robbed making deposit, suspect wanted

MANCHESTER — A Citizens Bank clerk was robbed while she was about to complete a drop box deposit.

Officers responded to the Citizens Bank parking lot at 1550 Elm St. for a report of strong arm robbery on Sunday at about 8:50 a.m. The female clerk reported that she was about to complete a drop box deposit when she was approached by a man who displayed a black handgun in his waistband. The man demanded the money from the drop box deposit, which the clerk complied to.

The suspect fled on foot following the robbery, police said.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5-feet-6-inches to 5-feet-7-inches tall, wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt with the hood up and blue jeans.
