Police: Man threatened moving workers with handgun, faces felony charges
MANCHESTER – A man is in custody for allegedly threatening moving workers with a handgun on Elm Street in Manchester on Friday evening.
A 22-year-old moving worker claimed that a man, who was later identified as 50-year-old Thomas McLaughlin, allegedly yelled at him and his coworkers, insisting that they quiet down.
The victim told police that McLaughlin disappeared and then returned a short while later, but this time with a handgun that he pointed at him.
The victim also said McLaughlin didn’t speak while aiming the handgun at him and eventually walked away.
