HOOKSETT - A man police said was firing a semi-automatic rifle near an undeveloped cul-de-sac was arrested with the help of a Manchester SWAT team on Monday night.
Police responded to Campus Drive around 9:30 p.m. after reports of an unstable man with a semi-automatic rifle and heard four or five shots when they arrived. Police said they backed off the scene at Campus Drive, set up a perimeter around the cul-de-sac and called in the SWAT team.
Christopher Garon, 23, was taken into custody at 2:24 Tuesday morning. He was charged with felony reckless conduct and disorderly conduct.
Garon was being held on $10,000 cash bail is scheduled to appear in court via video on Tuesday.
