Police: Man driving a truck like this tried to abduct a 10-year-old Brentwood boy

BRENTWOOD - Police have released a photo of a truck similar to the one that a man who tired to abduct a 10-year-old boy was driving.

Brentwood police and witnesses say the boy did everything he was supposed to do when a grown man repeatedly told him to get into his truck. The boy yelled and ran away to an adult.

The boy was visiting friends and playing hide and go seek in the area of Mill Road and Mary Vey Drive on Tuesday.

Police said the boy was alone for a moment when a truck pulled up. The driver apparently told him to "get in" even getting angry and raising his voice when the boy said no.

Anyone with information on the truck or the suspect is asked to contact Brentwood Police at (603) 642-8817.
